Ipswich Town reports loss

The Championship club reported a £480,000 loss after tax for the year ended 30 June 2004. However, the club has shown a significant financial improvement compared to a loss of £7.75m in the corresponding period the year before. Turnover reported £24.4m with non-match-day income reported £1.3m. The club improved its financial situation mainly due to a parachute payment from the Premier League, and £2.5m rose through a share issue.
