England rights in U.S. go to Setanta, Fox Soccer

Adjust font size: Decrease font Enlarge font
Fox Soccer Channel, in conjunction with Setanta Sports, has the United States broadcast rights for some of England's more high profile events.

Each broadcaster will show exclusive live matches under a rights-sharing agreement, which also provides for sharing of clips, internet rights and mobile rights. Both broadcasters will show the FA Cup Final live.

The two broadcast entities have the FA Cup and England's national team matches over the next four years. Included are live rights for the FA Community Shield, FA Cup matches and Senior and Under-21 national team home matches, including friendlies and 2010 World Cup qualifiers.

The deals give FSC and Setanta access to preview and review shows, archive matches, and magazine programmes.
