Administrators have said if a buyer is not found by 17 May, Scottish Gretna will cease to exist.
The club had been a great story. Gretna rapidly ascended the Scottish football ladder, winning Division Three, Division Two and Division One one year after the other. They joined the Scottish premier League five seasons after being allowed to enter the Scottish football system.
But owner Brooks Mileson suffered from a brain infection in February. His financial support for the club ceased. Gretna went into administration in March with GBP 4 million in debt.
After some tense moments, Gretna will be allowed to finish the season. But if the club cannot have a buyer by 17 May, they are finished.
