Large-screen licencing for the 2008 European Championships will not be affected by proposed tariffs for major screenings of the event in Switzerland.
UEFA has asked that anyone or any group wishing to show the competition on a large-screen TV apply for a licence. UEFA.com said these have been given out for free over the past year.
UEFA licence holders will be exempt from the Swiss tariff, according to UEFA.com.
