Romanian Public Television has taken the rights to air the nation's prime Champions League coverage.
It will have the Tuesday and Wednesday option, as well as the semifinals and final. The cost was EUR 35 million for a three-year deal starting with the 2009-2010 season, and brings the competition back to TVR, which had hosted the event from 1992-1999.
DTH Boom TV won the second option, with match rights that are not with TVR's platform.
