A deal to take over English Sheffield Wednesday still is a possibility, as Geoff Sheard has said that, despite the slow progress, there still is a good chance at closing a deal.
Sheard said that he expects a deal to be closed within the next few weeks, or by season's end at the latest. He said there were some complications that have slowed the deal.
The supporters' club said they would track the progress and keep an eye on Sheard's consortium.
