The Dutch top league, the Eredivisie has opened up a second round of bidding, and that could be good news for public service broadcaster NOS.
NOS reportedly offered EUR 12 million per season for the rights. That was higher than commercial broadcaster RTL, which currently has the highlights. Commercial broadcaster SBS declined to bid.
RTL has been paying an estimated EUR 35 million a season for primary and secondary highlights rights.
