Ekstraklasa, Poland's top-tier football league, has sold off its broadcast rights for three years in a deal totaling approximately USD 147.4 million.
Canal Plus Poland and Telekomunikacja Polska brought the rights starting in 2008-2009, after previously holding them for USD 52 million for the past three seasons. The groups beat out commercial broadcaster Polsat and ITI Neovision for the rights.
