MLS commissioner Don Garber denied reports that his league was seeking its own cable network to use as a broadcasting base. But he wouldn't rule out his league getting a stake in one of the networks that broadcasts the MLS.
In the U.S., the NFL, NBA and Major League Baseball all have their own networks.
Garber said the MLS is happy with its deal with Fox Soccer Channel, GolTV and Setanta Sports. Garber added that the MLS is investigating getting a share in one of those.
