Spanish Valencia has received a EUR 90 million windfall for selling its training ground, but has been forced to spend the money for items it was not earmarked for.

The income has been used on player's salaries and compensation packages for former managers. It was supposed to go toward building a new ground.

Losses under Juan Soler's presidency have reached EUR 134 million. This year, expenditure is expected to reach EUR 144 million.
