English Watford's financial picture is much better this year as opposed to last.
Watford registered a GBP 8 million profit this year, ending 30 June, countering a loss of GBP 5.6 million.
The club also has GBP 4.1 million in deferred payments on players for the current season.
Not counting players costs, the club's operating profit was GBP 3.1 million. Watford had taken a GBP 6.6 million loss last year. Revenues increased to GBP 29.9 million from 8.5 million, attributed to the major broadcast deals struck by the Premier League, as well as hospitality revenue.
