Everton helps develop Western Pennsylvania's players

English Everton will use an online development academy to assist in improving players across Eastern Pennsylvania. Everton and US FC Revolution have partnered for the venture and will use Everton's online player development tool, evertonway.com.

The site will have video clips, audio commentary and editorial walkthroughs so Everton coaches can help players attain Premier League standards.

"This is an historic day for soccer players and coaches throughout the Eastern Pennsylvania region," said FC Revolution owner/director Eric Puls.

"FC Revolution players will now receive exclusive training that follows the programme and methods of one of the world's leading organisations for player development."

Everton Academy coaches will be the technical advisers to the Revolution and visits are planned to make certain the new academy develops over the next 3 years.

This venture comes less than a month after a similar partnership with Western Pennsylvania club, Pittsburgh Riverhounds.

"We are continuing to support youth development in the US and this is another partnership for Everton to cement our proven development programme in a forward thinking US club like FC Revolution," said Tosh Farrell, Everton Academy coach.
