The Republic of Ireland knows who will be airing the 2008 European Championships, as broadcaster RTE signed on with UEFA.
UEFA said that all 31 tournament matches will be broadcast on free-to-air television in the Republic of Ireland, according to UEFA.com. RTE also will feature highlights programmes for all matches.
The broadcast rights to the UEFA European Championship are being sold on a market-by-market basis for the first time in the 46-year history of the tournament.
