Clubs budget for season 2004/05

The three leading clubs of top-tier, Holland Casino Eredivisie, Ajax Amsterdam, Feyenoord Rotterdam and PSV Eindhoven, continues to present budgets scientifically higher than the rest of the league clubs. Ajax are topping the list with a €56m budget, followed by Feyenoord €53m and PSV €50m. Although SC Heerenveen positioned forth in the list, the club’s €17m budget is only around one third of the three leading clubs. FC Den Bosch is closing the 18 clubs list with a modest €4.3m budget. The clubs total €307.3m budgets shows a slight increase (around 2%) in respect to last season (2003/04) €301.6m budget. While De Graafschap sees around 27% increase of the budget from last season’s €4.9m to €6.7m, Vitesse sees its budget falls 21% to €12.7m. The full list (in € millions): Ajax (56), Feyenoord (53), PSV (50), SC Heerenveen (17), AZ (15), Vitesse (12.7), FC Twente (11.7), FC Utrecht (11.3), NAC Breda (10.5), NEC (10.3), Willem II (10.1), Roda JC (9.5), FC Groningen (8.7), RKC Waalwijk (7), RBC Roosendal (7), De Graafschap (6.7), ADO Den Haag (6.5), FC Den Bosch (4.3).
