English Premier League mobile and internet rights for 80 nations have been awarded to Nimbus Sport.

The nations are a mix from Asian to Middle East to North Africa to a few Europeans countries, and even includes far off locales such as Brazil and New Zealand. Deals are already in place in markets such as Australia, China, Italy, Japan, Hong Kong and Korea.

"This is the first time that the Premier League has offered Internet rights separately from broadcast rights, and Nimbus Sport is delighted to be a pioneering commercial partner for the world's leading football property," said Nimbus Sport CEO Digvijay Singh. "With both the internet rights and the mobile rights to work on, we are excited at the prospect of bringing top football, on new media devices, to fans around the world."

Nimbus Sport will market these rights in conjunction with PA SportEV, a subsidiary of PA Sport.
