The Serie A club has published its report for the year to end of June 2004 and announced a preliminary pre-tax loss of €18m compared to a pre-tax profit of €9.5m the year before. The total turnover fell from around €215m to €208m primarily due to the club’s early elimination from the UEFA Champions League. Operating costs also fell down 15% from €199m to €169m. The report outlined the recent broadcasting deals signed with TV broadcasters Sky Italia (two years) and Mediaset (three years) which granted the club incomes of €114m due in September 2005, and €94m a year later.
