Bechkam show debuted on FSC

David Beckham's arrival in the United States has spawned on TV show dedicated solely to the star.

Fox Soccer Channel has been airing David Beckham's Soccer USA weekly, starting 25 July. The goal behind the show was to capture match action and off-the-pitch happenings around what has been the United States' most intriguing football import since Pele.

"David Beckham's arrival is a tremendous milestone in U.S. soccer history, and Fox Soccer Channel is intent on covering his impact on the game from every possible angle," said David Sternberg, executive vice president and general manager of Fox Soccer Channel. "David Beckham's Soccer USA will provide an insider's look at his performance with the Los Angeles Galaxy, as well as complement Fox Soccer Channel's exclusive match coverage each week on MLS Saturday on FSC."

Natalie Pinkham will host the show, which will run 13 weeks.
