The Premier League club has reported a pre-tax profit for the year ended May 31 2004 of £10.57m, over 150% increase compared to last year’s profit of £4.53m. Turnover rise from last year’s £118.17m to £157.29m and the operating costs increased from £92.51m to £120.23m. Wage costs increased from £60.6m to £69.9m, but the club’s wages-to turnover ratio was one of the lowest in the league with 44.5%.
