Adjust font size: Decrease font Enlarge font
The budgeted income for the 2004/05 Champions League is to be up almost 5% to €584m in comparison with the revenue generated last season. €419m of the total revenue received would be paid to the 32 participating clubs, €22m will be paid to the professional leagues of the participating associations, and €143m will remain with UEFA to cover administrative costs and for investment in football across the continent. Each club taking part in the 2004/05 Champions League or UEFA Cup can expect to receive €52,000 per round if they do not qualify for the group match stage, or are eliminated in the first round or earlier of the UEFA Cup. Each domestic champion which fails to reach the group stage is also set to receive a €97,000 bonus.
