Sport TV retains Serie A rights

Sport Tv will remain the Portuguese media outlet for Italian Serie A action.
Media Partners & Silva struck a three-year deal with the broadcaster that will last through the 2009-2010 season.
"We are very happy with this agreement: we keep the main Serie A matches in our channels because this league is one of the most popular in Portugal," said Nuno Ferreira, managing director of Sport Tv Portugal. "Sport Tv has been offering Italian Serie A to its subscribers since we started our operations in 1998,"
