An informal meeting was held with Simon Jordan, chairman of English Crystal Palace, and Ted Kyzer, infrastructure director of the London Development Agency (LDA), discussing the possibility of relocating to the National Sports Centre (NSC) in the nearby park.
The LDA owns the land at Crystal Palace Park where the NSC is located and would welcome the football club leasing at a redeveloped sports facility.
Ron Noades, former freeholder, recently sold Selhurst Park in a deal with Jordan, who says he now owns the stadium.
Jordan recently issued a tender document to the city emphasising the development value of the Selhurst Park site and calling for outside investment.
He said this document just allows permit refinancing of the funds that facilitated the stadium purchase and that his club had "nowhere to go."
When questioned about the meeting with Kyzer, Jordan would not comment.
