The Czech Republic made a deal in which Prima TV will be its official television partner and will broadcast all 31 matches of UEFA EURO 2008 live on free-to-air television.
"Prima TV will further enhance the EURO viewing experience by broadcasting an extensive coverage of the competition," the European body stated.
"UEFA is delighted to welcome a further broadcaster to the exclusive group of UEFA EURO 2008 broadcast partners," said Philippe Le Floc'h, UEFA director of marketing and media rights.
"With Prima TV, we add a modern and ambitious broadcaster, which, within a short time period, has established itself among the leading broadcasters in its market.
"UEFA is confident that, with the support of Prima TV, UEFA EURO 2008 will be a success and the viewers in the Czech Republic will experience a great football tournament."
The television rights for the UEFA European Championship are being sold on a market-by-market basis for the first time in the tournament's 46-year history.
SPORTFIVE is UEFA's exclusive sales agent for the development of European broadcast rights relating to UEFA EURO 2008.
