English Tottenham Hotspur may be moving to Wembley stadium according to chairman Daniel Levi, while a decision is made on what to do about the stadium at White Hart Lane.
Levi told shareholders at AGM that the club will "continue to examine all options" and that a decision would be made sometime in the next year.
There are three choices the club could decide upon. It could redevelop the existing stadium, build a completely new stadium, or move to an existing stadium, either for the time being or on a long-term basis.
Wembley, which will be allowed to stage 37 events a year under its proposed licence from Brent Council, is the only possible stadium the club could use at this time, and Tottenham could play most of its home matches under that guideline.
If Tottenham does play at Wembley, it would be a temporary move while the club decides what to do with the White Hart Lane stadium.
The option of playing at the Olympic stadium in Stratford was eliminated when London 2012's deputy chairman Keith Mills joined the Tottenham board.
Transportation would be an issue if the present ground is redeveloped but Tottenham did purchase a large amount of property surrounding White Hart Lane and that would give the club the opportunity to redevelop if the funds were available.
