Eastern Europe and former Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) territorial rights for English Premier League matches have been awarded to SPORTFIVE for the next three years.
SPORTFIVE was given the mandate to sell rights to the FAPL in 25 countries: Bosnia, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia, Albania, Belarus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Slovakia, Ukraine, Armenia, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
"We are confident that SPORTFIVE is the ideal choice of partner for marketing the rights of the Premier League in these Eastern territories," said Richard Scudamore, Premier League CEO. "We have worked with SPORTFIVE in the past and appreciate their professional expertise."
