Fans receive continued support from Nationwide

Nationwide Building Society, an England national team sponsor, will continue its sponsorship of the Nationwide Fans' Embassy, according to the Football Supporters Federation.

The service is up and running for the first time since the World Cup for England's visit to Macedonia this week, and this agreement for two more years will stretch it to a four-year deal.

"The Nationwide FSF Fans' Embassy is designed to improve the experience for England supporters traveling abroad and operates in the build up to every international England play away from home," Nationwide's Chris Hull said. "During the World Cup, the Nationwide Fans' Embassy provided the 100,000 England supporters traveling to Germany with much-needed advice, information and support before and during the tournament.

"What's particularly pleasing to us about Nationwide's support is that they fully respect the independence of the FSF, and our determination to maintain the unique 'by fans, for fans' quality of our services," said Kevin Miles, International Coordinator of the Football Supporters' Federation. "It is to Nationwide's immense credit that they have enabled us not only to provide information, advice and support, but also to speak up loudly and clearly on behalf of supporters' interests."
