England team renews Nationwide sponsorship

The Football Association has renewed its sponsorship deal with the building society Nationwide, in a four-year deal worth GBP 20 million.
The new deal is worth GBP 5 million less than previous sponsorship.
Nationwide, which has a seven-year link with the Football Association, extended the deal despite the impression given less than a year ago, when it pulled out of negotiations. Pepsi’s withdrawal on its association with the FA amid speculation that sponsors did not find the deals were value for money.
