Sunderland in discussions with Quinn’s consortium

Chairman Bob Murray not only is ready to sell his 56.8 percent share of the Premier League club, but has been in discussion with a group of investors led by former Republic of Ireland forward Niall Quinn.
 
Sunderland announced on March 28 that Murray was prepared to sell, and confirmed that discussions with a consortium of private investors led by Quinn that could lead to an offer for the company.
 
Zeus Capital has been appointed as independent financial adviser to the company in order to represent the interests of all shareholders in relation to this proposal.
