New Wembley Stadium adds Carlsberg as main sponsor

Beer maker Carlsberg has reached a deal with the new Wembley Stadium, currently under construction, to act as one of the venues main sponsors. The four-year deal will give Carlsberg exclusive pouring rights inside the stadium, and also allow the company to offer tickets to all events held in the stadium, including the English FA Cup final, English national team games and musical events.

To celebrate the agreement Carlsberg will produce 90,000 limited edition Official Beer Wembley Bottles. The deal adds to Carlsberg’s football-related portfolio. The company also sponsors the English National team, Premiere League club Liverpool FC and non-league football. Carlsberg will also be a sponsor for the 2008 European Championships.
