The Kentaro Group finalized two important deals. The first deal with the Norwegian Football Association (NFF) is for the broadcast rights to the country’s national team for the next four years. The company, based in Switzerland, reportedly will pay EUR 7.48 million for the rights.

The NFF will get a guaranteed sum for every game, as well as a bonus if it is drawn with a popular nation such as Italy, France, Germany or England. However, Norway was drawn with Greece, Hungary, Turkey, Malta, Moldova and Bosnia-Herzegovina in its qualifying group.

In the second deal Kentaro Group paid EUR 28 million to the Swedish Football Association in a five year contract for its Allsvenskan league rights. Kentaro Group now will negotiate individually with Canal Plus and Viasat which are ready to bid for the live rights, while public broadcaster SVT will bid for the highlights.

Each of the clubs in the Allsvenskan will receive around EUR 800,000 share, while bonuses for appearances and final position could reach up to EUR 1.6 million.
