PLAZAMEDIA the first to produce football in HD

PLAZAMEDIA produce the first high definition (HD) images of a UEFA Champions League match for the Premiere television network.
The sport TV production firm was on site at the match between Werder Bremen and Juventus Turin with a record-setting 20 cameras and 80 staff. The live pictures from this Round of 16 games were provided in HD exclusively to subscribers on the Premiere HD Sport channel.
Premiere viewers can also look forward to other high-definition images of the top competitions of the Austrian national football league. Each top match of the T-Mobile Bundesliga will also be produced using the new HD standard. Nine cameras and over 30 staff will be on site for each match.
