The Football Federation (RFEF) has agreed bonuses payments for its World Cup squad. The 23 players and four managers would each earn EUR 540,000 for winning the competition, or otherwise EUR 360,000 for making the final. Reaching the semi-finals would see each squad member gets EUR 210,000, while quarter finals bonus was set to EUR 90,000. The RFEF are currently in talks with insurance companies to cover the risk for the bonuses.

The RFEF also informed that it pans to collect EUR 1.9 millions from its affiliated football clubs to cover the bureaucracy expenses involved in issuing player and coaching licences. Each of the Primera Liga clubs would pay EUR 61,000 for, while the Segunda one league clubs will pay EUR 35,000 each.
