National team sponsors, building society Nationwide, introduced a new initiative to help fans traveling abroad to matches. The initiative started on the friendly against Denmark and similar programmes are to be put in place for future internationals. Fans were given advice on how to travel around the Copenhagen, how to arrive to the ground and enjoy other attractions the city has to offer. In addition, free return train tickets were distributed at the airport to fans making their own way to the stadium on the day of the game. A special complimentary England fanzine, 'Free Lions', featuring maps, local information and an exclusive accommodation hotline, will be also be handed out to fans at the airport and in the city centre. Nationwide's Chris Hull said: "We recognize that fans invest a considerable amount of time and money in supporting the England team around the world and we are delighted to assist their experience."
