Club officials are having urgent negotiations with creditors in an attempt to stop going bankrupt. According to reports in media, the club faces a court deadline and so far, they have failed to satisfy those owed money. The owners of the Showgrounds, where the club play, are owed more than £30,000 while there is a bill of £360,000 for unpaid tax. It is understood both have refused an offer of 3p in the pound. The club’s overall debts are believed to amount to more than GBP £1 milion.
