Super League and SAS deal under threat

Adjust font size: Decrease font Enlarge font
The current €1.2m a year deal with SAS airlines for the exclusive naming rights of the league is to expire soon, however the clubs has rejected the bid offered by the airline for prolonging the cooperation. SAS, marketing director Jens Aalose says that the company will continue to be involved in Danish football even if they can't find a solution to the current stand-off. "We already have agreements with 11 out of 12 clubs so if we don't sponsor the whole league we are still very much part of Danish football," said SAS. "I know that there are some clubs who still don't have a main sponsor for next season and that could be interesting for us."
