Canal Plus wins Polish football broadcasting rights

Vivendi Universal's Groupe Canal Plus said its Polish subsidiary Canal Cyfrowy has won the exclusive broadcasting rights for Polish football league matches for the 3 years beginning with the 2005/2006 season. The rights will allow Canal Cyfrowy to broadcast 240 matches per year, of which about 100 will be live broadcasts.
