Supporters Trust in a bid to takeover Stockport County

Stockport County Supporters Trust has made a formal offer to buy the League One club from Cheshire Sport, a holding company that owns Edgeley Park, Stockport County Football club and Rugby Union club Sale Sharks, and controlled by Bryan Kennedy who is believed to have approached the Trust to solicit interest in a sale of shares in the football club. The financial details of the bid are covered by the confidentiality agreement signed between the parties.
