DirecTV adds GoITV to its portfolio

Digital television service provider DirecTV has agreed to add GolTV to its packages. GolTV is a football (soccer) dedicated channel that offers more than 1,500 live games from across the world each year, with exclusive rights to matches in Italy, Spain, and central and south America countries. GolTV has recently signed multi-year agreement to broadcast Brazilian soccer. The exclusive deal gives GolTV viewers the chance to watch 76 live games each season from various competitions including the Brazilian Cup, the Paulista Tournament and the Brazilian National Championship.
