Top clubs in TV rights deals

Rupert Murdoch's Sky Italia has extended the pay TV rights contract with Italian top clubs Juventus, AC Milan and Internatzionale.  The two seasons contract will income the clubs with € 480m. In addition, Mediaset, the media group controlled by Italian premier Silvio Berlusconi, has bought the free-to-air, cable and ADSL broadcasting rights of the clubs home matches. The three seasons deal also acquired the option to match financial offers to the pay TV rights currently owned (until 2007) by Sky Italia.
