Setanta to launch a new sports channel

Following an agreement between pay-TV company Setanta Sports and the country's Broadcasting Commission, Setanta is to operate a dedicated pay-per-view basis sports channel. The channel will air seven days a week a wide variety of sports, including coverage of the English Premier League and the Republic of Ireland Premier Division and will be available on satellite and cable platforms.
