League to split broadcasting rights

The Ligue de Football Professionnel (LPF) has split its TV rights tender to four packages including the live Sunday matches, two live midweek matches, pay-per-view games and a the highlights package. The four packages are to be all sold off by December 10, and competition between the broadcasters is expected to push the price up by over a third from this season’s deal, worth €375m.
