Romanian broadcaster Sport One, yet to air a programme, grabbed the rights to Serie A football for that nation.
The Media Partners & Silva agency agreed to a deal with the broadcaster that begins next season and runs through 2009-2010. It was brokered by Acid Sport.
Sport One will launch towards the end of 2006, and is a joint venture between Bobby Paunescu, the owner of the free-to-air B1 channel in Romania and the Aviv Gilady Holdings Group from Israel.
