Sport TV claimed the Portuguese rights for broadcasting three seasons of the latter stages of the UEFA Cup and the UEFA Super Cup.
Sport TV will be showing eight live matches from the UEFA Cup quarterfinals onwards, as well as a highlights programme each matchday. It also will televise the UEFA Super Cup final, played in Monaco each August, on a delayed basis.
Sport TV is a long-term partner of UEFA, having renewed its agreement for the UEFA Champions League for 2006-2009.
