MLS clubs close in on Spanish-language TV market

MLS Chivas USA will air 10 matches live and have a weekly show on U.S. Spanish-language channel Telemundo.
While Chivas is entertaining more deals with Telemundo, the L.A. Galaxy also are contemplating a deal with Spanish-language broadcasters. The MLS has a deal with Spanish-language network Telefutura to show one game a week nationally on Sundays, while the Houston Dynamo was the only club to have local games broadcast in Spanish last season.
Both Chivas USA and the Galaxy have English-language television deals with Fox Sports Net.
