Free-to-air broadcasters NOS and RTL won the Netherlands rights for the next three seasons' UEFA Cup quarterfinals, semifinals and finals, as well as the UEFA Super Cup.

NOS will broadcast three live UEFA Cup matches each season – a quarterfinal second leg, a semifinal first leg and the final – as well as a highlights programme each matchday.

"NOS is a long-standing partner of UEFA competitions and their participation will again ensure the maximum possible audiences over the next three seasons," said UEFA.

RTL, the country's largest commercial broadcasting group, will broadcast two live UEFA Cup matches each season – a quarter-final first leg and a semi-final second leg – and each UEFA Super Cup match live.

Discussions on the live broadcast of the remaining UEFA Cup matches are ongoing with a number of broadcasters in the Netherlands.

"Clubs from the Netherlands have a strong history of success in the UEFA Cup," said UEFA Chief Executive Lars-Christer Olsson. "We are delighted that two such prestigious broadcasters have committed to bring these matches to the enthusiastic Dutch audience."
