Dogan TV Holdings has snared the UEFA Champions League rights from 2009-2012.
Dogan apparently will exploit the media rights on its Star TV channel. That outlet has covered the Champions League for Turkey in the past. Dogan also has Internet and mobile rights to exploit.
The Super Cup in 2009, 2010 and 2011 also are part of the rights package.
Star TV will get free-to-air coverage for Tuesday and Wednesday first choice matches, and all Turkish club matches. The remaining live matches will be on DSport-branded channels.
