UEFA awarded the exclusive Bulgarian TV rights to Diema Vision for EURO 2008.
All 31 matches will be shown live on Diema Vision's free-to-air channels Diema 2 and Diema+, and simultaneously broadcast on the company's outlet, Diema Extra. Additional programmes on all three stations will include match reruns and a daily highlights package.
"Diema Vision is a young and ambitious player in the Bulgarian television market which has recently invested a lot in the broadcast of important football properties," UEFA Chief Executive Lars-Christer Olsson said. "Diema Vision has committed to an extensive coverage of UEFA EURO 2008™, which encompasses additional programming on top of the live broadcast of all matches."
The broadcast rights to the UEFA European Championship are being sold on a market-by-market basis for the first time in the 46-year history of the tournament. SPORTFIVE is acting as UEFA's exclusive sales agent for the event.
