Virgin Media, the UK's second largest provider of pay TV, announced it will carry English Arsenal TV channel on its platform from Tuesday 18th March, free for all Virgin Media’s XL TV customers, and included as part of the Setanta Sports pack for TV customers on M or L packages. The deal comes more than two months after the club's channel launched.

Arsenal TV is showing all the club's matches in full with expert commentary on a delayed basis, previews and post-match analysis, all Reserve matches aired live, as well as full match action from the Arsenal Ladies and Under 18s matches.

The channel, which airs five days a week, six hours a day, includes shows such as ‘Arsenal Today’, a nightly news programme; ‘Bob Wilson Meets’, where the ex-Arsenal player conducts in-depth interviews with Arsenal veterans; and ‘Fans’ Forum’, a live phone-in show hosted by Tom Watt, giving fans the chance to air their opinions on weekend games and all club matters.

Virgin Media’s Chief Executive of Content, Malcolm Wall, said "Virgin Media is leading the industry in providing exceptional content to our customers. We're delighted to be launching Arsenal TV and boosting our sports offering, which already includes Setanta Sports and Sky Sports channels along with free Premiership highlights on virginmedia.com. We look forward to continuing to offer a diverse range of content to all Virgin Media customers."

Keith Edelman, Managing Director of Arsenal Football Club, said "Arsenal TV is a fantastic channel for our fans, bringing expert analysis and all the latest news, five days a week. We’re extremely pleased to be extending our reach to Virgin Media’s customer base, and are sure the channel will be successful on the Virgin Media TV platform."
