The Spanish version of the Fox Sports channel has agreed a sponsoring deal with Pennzoil, the number one selling brand of motor oil in the United States. The campaign will run between April and August of this year, and the majority of programming covered by the deal will feature football, including the Copa Libertadores, Futbol Liga Mexican a, Mexican Soccer-Primera A and Fox Gol Mexico. The channel reaches over seven million households in the top Hispanic markets in the US and broadcasts baseball and boxing in addition to football. "We are always looking for new opportunities to connect with our consumers," said Jeffrey Lack, director of Pennzoil brand marketing. "Hispanic consumers represent a growing portion of our business and Pennzoil is proud to be associated with this effort
