The Premier League club is demanding an overhaul of the current television deal, which gives all 14 Allsvenskan clubs the same amount of money. The current agreement with German company ISPR runs out this year, and the Stockholm club is hankering after a bigger slice of the pie. "The television revenue should mirror how many people watch the games of the clubs involved and how big the clubs marketing value is," says managing director Henrik Appelqvist. Clubs have so far been receiving around €328,000 each for every season but Hammarby does not think that is enough for what it contributes. The club made a loss of €284,000 last season. "We think our marketing value is somewhat bigger than many other clubs." According to the company who had the rights for the pay-per-view games, Hammarby's games were always among the ones which fans purchased the most. In Scotland for example, Rangers and Celtic get everything and the rest get nothing," Appelqvist commented to media.
