Danish domestic football rights have fetched USD 209.5 million for the Superliga, Denmark's top league.

The competition authority vetoed a proposed deal with the Modern Times Group, a Scandinavian broadcast group. But Viasat, the Modern Times Group's pay-television platform, won the first of three live-match packages along with commercial networks TV3 and TV3+.

Danmarks Radio and Telenor, a Norway-based group, bought the second package.
